Logworks
Is there any info on how to log with logworks?I have seen few members here loging most of the stuff available in evoscan(knocksum, coolant temp, etc etc)
Well, when im logging with logworks im only able to log afr, revs and TPS and intake temp when using open port feature in logworks. Is there any more info available for logworks please? And do you find logworks to better for logging afrs then Evoscan?
regards

I use logworks for everything. But I do not log that which I don't need to tune...
I log 2 byte load / 2 byte airflow / JDM Map sensor / RPM / A/F / Knock / Timing / IPW / and vehicle speed. Thats about it.
I flip flop between TPS / Speed so I can use the auto trigger function for logs. Then it becomes mindlessly simple.
evoscan will not work for me. It either doesn't stay connected - or just gimps. Logworks - works. 100% of the time. Without the 2 byte load portion tho - logworks is almost pointless as it clips load at 180. Not great if you spend the majority of your time at 260-300 load at WOT. 2 byte is just valuable in itself. Even compared to load calc on evoscan.

LogWorks has a file called protocols.xml. That is the file that holds all of the requests and settings for what you want to log. You have to edit and add to that file in the same way that you would edit or add to the data.xml in EvoScan.

Yeah I have never figured out how to use logworks to log anything in the ecu. I have tried a few times while im out and gettinf frustrated with evoscan, then I give up. Ill search now on here and there forums, but if anyone is feeling generous how do you even get started logging with logworks?
