No, you add it in the appropriate section in the evoscan xml (which would be the first section of datalistitem's for you)

guys, need advice, trying to run speed density conversion, MAP sensor installed, MAT sensor installed, tried 2 roms (latest v7 and V6). My MAT sensor shows rediculous temperatures in evoscan. When my car is iddling the temperature is 190 fahrenheit, moving around 170. Could you tell me please what shoud I do, how can I calibrate the sensor (it's GM sensor)

PS. Figured it out, MAT sensor shows as standart IAT sensor, and what is supposed to be MAT sensor shows weird values

The file you need to edit is called "data.xml" and its inside the datasettings folder.

guys i need a little help.

2003 evo8 0015 ROM

i got the AIT installed. i need to know if i did it right. when i got the sensor i had to put it together. did it matter which was ground and which was power??

and lastly when wiring it into the ecu i wired it to the correct harness connector ''as there is 4'' its the one closest to the driver side. it is a blue wire with a thin white stripe. i need to know if that is correct as well. thanks

Sent you a PM on this, but thought you might see this sooner. Is this patch compatible w/ V7 SD? If so, do I just copy over the tables from the 9653006 rom in your first post? I had this working correctly on 94170015 w/ SD previously, just not sure w/ V7.

See the image below, i have no clue if this is an evo maf or not, but im just providing this as a reference for the positive negative question.

Mrfred, the download links seem to be broken. Is there a mirror?

EDIT :: Saw the power outage message. Let me know if you need a mirror.

mrfred, if you could use space on evoecu.logic.net, let me know. I can probably set something up for you. (An FTP login where you can manage content yourself, or I could whip up a nightly mirror of content from your server pretty quickly.)

I bought a used UICP with what I thought at the time was an IAT sensor bung (3/8NPT). Well after ordering a sensor, it doesn't fit. I believe I have a 1/4NPT bung. Maybe it was originally intended for a meth nozzle or similar, I'm not sure. Does anyone know of a IAT sensor with 1/4NPT threads?

Edit: I found a 1/4"NPT sensor, SU3036, I am assuming this will work. It's hard to find any actual technical data on these things.

I'm about 99% certain that the sensor will not be compatible with the GM sensor scaling values.

It's not, I did come up with a conversion table using the two sensors. Am I able to just adjust the voltage in the "Fuel Temp scaling" table or do I need to adjust the temp? Or does it really matter which I change as long as they scale correctly?
