FBA bit zero disables lean spool; perhaps you changed FAA accidentally?

a little advice here.

so i added the ecu periphery bit tables to my evo9base.xml as per the write up on evoecu.

the rom i am using is 88580014.

all i want to disable is the rear 02 simulator since this car will be used on a JDM IX.

i looked at the spreadsheet posted by mrfred, based on this i am looking at FEA P04 bit.15 to disable do i enter 0 or 1, my guess is 1 lol.

BTW whats up with this "no match" thing???

also please confirm i am on the right track and the tables look:

Why are some of your values saying no match....shouldn't they be either 1's or 0's?

look at my post i asked the same question lol..

i am guessing no match means something if f***ed.

and i am also guessing 1 is entered to disable the particular periphery bit?

In Binary language 1 = true = on = enabled as a maxim. This should be the case unless otherwise specified.

rolly: I would think its .xml related... Not sure what, exactly... Im not sure if 0014 is the same as 0015, but I can send you the patch for this later, if you like...

I started reading up on this last night, and it seems as though ppl are disabling the "EGR enabled Ign. Adv."FAA bit 11 ="1" thinking that this has to do w/ helping the infamous transitions knock or tip in knock... I disabled this today ="1" and noticed my cold start was loopey as all hell. Sounded like I had some aggresive cams in. Is this normal?

On another note, I usually have tip in whenever I hit 5th gear up to 3-8 counts, and was kept to a minimal 1 to 2 counts this morning doing a 4th-5th gear pull...

If that is the case (the startup) it may do more than we think. EGR advance should not be doing anything on a cold start. Max EGR duty (and I'd assume the timing associated with it) rises with coolant temp.

I was upstairs while it was warming up, but I could hear how loopey it was from up stairs... (garage is right under my condo) I even went down to see WTF? The loopeyness went away, Im assuming when it reached operating temp.

Any1 disagree w/ me enabling it again? I'll try to replicate the pull, and see if theres any more or less knock...

Edit: I started my car after work, and immediately... Loopey as hell, so I flashed back enabling the bit, and did a pull, and same 1-2 counts...
