I have a semi-on topic question given the context of this thread. Will it be possible to clone an ECU? Meaning, I buy an ECU for an EvoX, reprogram whatever code is required to make it function in my car, and then swap out my stock unmodified ECU, for the modified ECU?
OR, if there is a flash counter in the EvoX, which has been speculated previously, will it be possible to overwite that checksum?

Nice.. I definitely will be getting myself a new CAN/Openport cable, and an ECU and building a bench harness to work at it sometime in the future.
I have to buy a new car some time in the future.. It might end up being an X or Ralliart (the AWD turbo if they release it) so I've been watching this stuff, but not participating much.

To really get at all the tables and understand their purpose, we need to be able to disassemble the ROM. Neither myself nor any of the usual suspects I've talked with have been able to successfully disassemble the ROM. I'm sure it will happen, but getting into the ROM is not quite as easy as I expected.

no probs mate, if you get the time, can you see if there is a table to remove the timing limit too (so we can get it to go more than -10°).
And any other tables that might be lurking in there (don't want much do I)
I've had a go with ida pro, and I get lost with it very quickly
