im almost positive it will work.....when i was putting the clutch wire to ground i change the values and i rev the car,two step works, then i thought well the cluth wire turn it on,i disconnect the clutch wire and i drove home, when i was driving i let the rpm goe to like 5500 and the stationary limiter didnt do noting, when i got home is when i found out that the cluth wire dosent do noting to the limiter,n i told to myself o **** n i drove my car with the two step on!!!

On an EVO7 pinouts i have, Clutch switch is not Labeled. If its PIN43 As the EVO8 then gounding it would simulate the Clutch Being engaged (Pressed)
Im guessing this as the Stationary rev function is available (defined) in 90550001 though dosnt function - missing Clutch input
Although the tables are defined, i dont know if the routine is actually called (have no idea on the disasembly)
If the Stat rev limit works on 900550001 flashed to an EvO 8 ECU then it is simply a Clutch input problem, wether or not the E7 ECU has this on pin43 i have no idea

This is the same problem i was having with the V5 patched 90550001, though when stationary the NTLS/stat limit did'nt kick in either
If i put a fresh 90550001 without the patch and DO NOT open the stationary limit field up then the flash works perfectly (without any stationary limit or NTLS effects)

p.s can you link me to the ecu pin out for the evo7 please

Yes Gerrard, that should simulate the Clutch switch if it is active on that pin. I sent an email through with the Pinouts to the email you PM'd me, check the spam folder

bondango, good to meet you here.. got your comment on youtube
Would it be practical if we use the handheld switch (just like the altmap switch harness for non-autoics car) as upper clutch switch? What I'm saying is while tps at 100%, press this switch together with clutch in to trigger NTLS and shift up. I would be dying for ntls function... it's cool!!
