It may be beta for some other car models (i.e: new hybrid DSM's like the non-turbo eclipses and talons with Chrysler engines etc...) but I'm willing to bet a huge majority of the Evo stuff is smoothed out. Just a guess though lol.

If you have a 1.3u tactrix cable it will not work for the periphery control units because you do not have pin 1 either. You would need to add the proper connection for pin1 and relieve pin 9. If you have an older evoscan cable you should be able to properly modify it.

------------------
if you downloaded the file with 'beta' in the name then it is a beta

EvoScanv2.3Beta2.zip
EvoScanv2.3.zip

You should know where to paste the proper one of those names if you have a proper copy. If not, head to the automated part of the site and have him re-email you your serial and link.

Where is the link to download if we already have purchased Evoscan 2.1? I have my serial number and paypal transaction but can't find anywhere on the site to download it without paying again. Can someone PM me the link?

Thanks

You should have got an email from evoscan regarding the new release. The link to DL the new version for free is at the very bottom of the email.

Haven't seen the e-mail but it may have been filtered into the junk e-mail by hotmail and unintentionally deleted. What e-mail address can I use to request the link? The help ticket didn't have this scenario (have serial number but need download link) as one of the drop down choices.

yeah don't post that link...

ok I think I may have figured out what is wrong with my log, in "LogEntrySeconds" everything after the "." is lost, ie it rounds down to the closest second??? anyone got any ideas on that one?

Anyway, hooray for new EvoScan! Looks like wideband is back!
Contact your Tuner and make sure your Flash is patched.

Do you think I should pull the link I put up or just leave that discussion at that?

But you still need the serial

btw, nice log haha.

I'll start futzing around with this new evoscan when I get back from the Redline event.

The ABS and g-sensor logging has me very intrigued.

Tried it on a run with a friends evo8 and noticed this annoyance already. I'd like to know whats causing this exactly. I hate to diss Hamish's hard work but he has YET to launch a version that has ever worked right out of the box If this was actually beta tested, it would be fine.
