Whatever can be done to improve data logging speed is what I think is most important. Second most important thing for me a release notes file that describes exactly what changes (if any) were made to the definitions. Not sure how much you follow here, but several of the definitions that you use are considered either not the best choice of definition or sometimes have errors. When a new version is released, a new thread is started here to determine entries have been changed and what needs to be done to bring things back to the accepted definitions by this community.

mrfred, good idea mate, I'm one step ahead of ya. I just posted a v2.4 thread, and listed the data xml changes for v2.4.

logging speed is already imperative to EvoScan, you cant get any faster with 15625 baudrate I'm sorry to say. the only slow part is the polling of the USB host port. i have benchmarked it hundreds of times, on the electronics oscilliscope, the vehicle ecu is already going as fast as it can go. But you can rewrite the SH7052 ecu kernel to go faster, but I dont think anyone here is interested in spending that much time just to get 30% faster when the baudrate mod to 62500 already increases it as fast as the current evo7/8/9 ecu code can currently go.

Next biggest benefit to me, and hopefully everyone else, would be to have "logging sets". There would be maybe 4-5 buttons with hotkeys that allow "one button" changes in logging parameters, .e.g., which items are logged, whether the data are logged to screen, color of items in the logging window, etc. This would make it much easier to switch while driving (and in general) between say, cruise logging and WOT logging.

Hmm, that certainly would be cool and easy to do while cruising. Mainly I check fuel trims with certain settings, 3rd gear pulls with another and HP graphing with another. I'll DL v2.4 today and put it through its paces

Sure glad I put in that ticket, lol.

How long do you think it would take for the trims to sync up? I unplugged my battery a few days ago and just had time today to log cruise/idle to see if my trims would move and they're still at .1008

This is by the way on version 2.4
