Below is the content from the release email that I received describing some of the new features:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EvoScan v2.3 New Features:
- NEW Mitsubishi EFI / ABS / AYC Actuator Testing and Bleeding.
- NEW Hybrid DSM 1994/95/96-99 Eclipse, 3000GT, DSM Datalogging capabilities. (use the EvoScan OpenPort cable or your favourite FTDI OBDII cable)
- NEW 98-2006 SSM-II Subaru Support (use the EvoScan OpenPort cable or your favourite FTDI OBDII cable)
- NEW 89-1998 SSM-I Subaru Support (9pin Cables in stock 1st July)
- NEW US OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Code support
- NEW Evo Diagnostic Trouble Code support and actuators.
- NEW Faster graphing, Gauges and UI response rates.
- NEW Gauge background and transparent images functionality.
- NEW Innovate Wideband Serial Protocol 1 and Protocol 2 logging.
- NEW Zeitronix Wideband Sensor Boost accuracy.
- NEW Map Tracer better xml support.
- NEW Gauges and Gauge Layouts.
- NEW Mitsubishi AYC and ABS requestids, includes GForce, Lateral Gs, Brake Light, Steering Angle Degrees, Steering Angle speed, etc... Note: For Mitsubishis this only works if pin9 is disconnected on Universal cables, disconnecting pin9 on universal cables also stops the EFI diagnostic lights from flashing, and you can tick the "disable flashing lights" under the Logging menu in Evoscan. pin9 is only used for subaru 2002 reflashing and interferes with Mitsubishi diagnostics. Next week I will be selling a specific Mitsubishi cable with no pin9 for those that like to purchase them already to go.

NEW Gauges and Gauge-Layouts Included..

Reminders:
- Car PC Interface - use "Evoscan.exe /AutoStartDatalogger" to automatically begin logging on PC startup.
- EvoScan support helpdesk, you can log any discussions or requests at http://www.evoscan.org/helpdesk
- Disconnect Pin9 on universal cables if you are only using it for Mitsubishi vehicles.
Development In-Progress for Evoscan v2.4:
- Innovate MTS Aux chain inputs.
- Trigger datalogging on Throttle Position Sensor %.
- WebCam - Record up to 8 webcams simultaneously.
- GPS Tracker - with Lap and Sector Split times. Gauge and image overlays.
- Increased Subaru support, and more Evo4/5/6 DTC support.

- Mitsubishi 3000GT (Hybrid MUT Protocol)

When he talks about Universal cables and pin 9 does he mean Evoscan or Tactrix cables? I would like to log AYC/ABS/ACD but don't know if I can with a modification to my Tactrix cable?

No, it seems like you could disconnect pin #9 and log the extra features ... maybe clip it and add a quick connect/disconnect for logging Scoobys?

I didn't get an email of the release.

How do I go about getting an upgrade of my version 2.1 (which I paid for) to version 2.3?
Surely i don't have to buy 2.3 if I already bought and paid for 2.1

Thx.

I've never received an email of any release, I purchased 2.0. I would like to know how this works too. I thought I remember reading somewhere that we either get it free or for a reduced price. Don't see the option on their website though. Anyone know?
