So you put a price on snipping. I can understand that. To me even if it was only $5 I would snip it and call it a day.

Everything works awesome. I'm using some settings from another thread that people are using for the GM bcs and it seems to be just about perfect.

I got myself haltech boost solenoid instead of GM. From the GM diagram shown, I wonder how much different between GM and Haltech. Here's a pic of the haltech boost solenoid, it's +12V (30Hz). More info can be found here and the diagram is attached here.

If anyone with 90550001 and GM mod, could you please share your xml?

Now that I look back... I had probably 5 or 6 plugs I could have used with the GM solenoid. I had to find the stock bcs wires and solder them to the old connector anyways so it really wasn't plug and play for me.

If the performance is nice I'll consider it worth it... I received it from Tatrix.com in 2-3 days
Could you mark the pic with text on which hose goes where? Where is the third port venting to? To the atmosphere?

Thanks for trying this. I like the PnP feature. It is worth the extra money IMO.

Well you can see which line goes to the WGA. The other line is running to my boost source (the turbo). The 3rd port is open "vta".

I'm having a slight spike to 25psi that I'm trying to figure out. Otherwise it's working just like razorlab posted on another thread. 22psi tapering to 21. It stays at 25 for a couple hundred rpm then drops right to 22.

Here are my settings.

I'm pretty sure I need to do something about the Boost Cut Delay Timer and Boost Limit, keep in mind i'm using the tephra alt map patched ROM and will run 28-32psi on race gas.

It's possible I may need to play with my WGA some but I'm not really sure.

I can tell you right now at 28psi you will be higher than 241 load at 4k.

Make the offset 200 and then you can use double digits in the BDEL table.

Example, lets say your load is 305 at 4k, use 200 in the offset and 105 in the BDEL at 5k.

Also your min temp for boost control table is incorrectly defined. It should be Max WGDC cold engine/cel and stock % is 62.5

Wastegate Solenoid activation table is also incorrectly defined.

------

The spike is because it is ramping up the boost on spool to hit that 260 target in the spool RPM. If you zero out the Max WGDC Correction vs TPS, you won't have this issue.

Or you can zero out the additive TBEC but I recommend the above over doing that.

I have set the offset and BDEL stuff... I have a lot to learn with this stuff... I've been using MBC's for ages.

What should the wastegate solenoid activation table look like?

I'm also not sure what you mean by zero out the Max WGDC Correction vs TPS... I don't see that exact table.

Max WGDC correction vs TPS:

I would also change your Variable for boost control and Update Delay:

Thanks! I will keep reading and it will click soon I'm sure. I haven't been logging the data I need for boost tuning but I will now

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is the difference between this piece and the stock one? What is the purpose of this mod?

Faster reacting, more precise, holds more boost.

Thanks again for the help razor lab. I'm starting to get how the ecu controlled boost works
