EGR removal and CEL

Now, I understand that there is a fix for elimination of EGR and the CEL, but does this actually allow removal of evap can etc from the rear as well?

Basically, there is an evap emission ventilation solenoid as well and wondering if unplugging it causes a CEL...

Thanks!

removing the evap can will cause a cel and there is no fix yet as far as I know.

Are you saying EGR fix will eliminate CEL for removing evap canister...

I am in Iowa - no emissions testing here whatsoever!

I have to check my car, but he may be correct in saying that the EGR cell fix will also fix the cel for the EVAP canister.

It might just disable that whole slew of EGR/EVAP emission related checks.

But yea its nearly 10lbs so you need get that thing off the car. Another downside is that when the car sits you can sometimes smell gasoline fumes, and when you fill up it really stinks.

Dudi - Sending you a PM regarding removal of evap, you research it at all? The rear is confusing as hell. I am not sure what to remove and what not...there are lines galore!

There is control of all the EGR/Evap CEL with periphery 2 as MRfred posted with his explanation of it earlier.

Just a matter of taking the time to do all the binary math and then converting it to Hex.
