Wll put 60 miles on the car today with the A/C running, wife was with me, and it ran great except for one time it died. Was pulling into a parking space with the A/C running and made a hard turn and it died. Ran great the rest of the day though. I think I have a small vacuum leak somewhere.

I tried this last night and my idle became unstable. It would swing between 800 and 1500 RPM. Adjusting the BISS caused the swing range to shift up and down, but the idle would not stabilize. As soon as I cancelled the actuator the idle stabilized to ~900 RPM. Has anyone else had this issue?

Awesome work on the SAS setting though. I was wondering how to do this on an Evo.

Very nice finding!
I am running hell with my S2s and built head. Mine idles fine but when going from cruise to stop (with A/C on)... the car idle goes to low and the engine shuts off.
I will test today and post results. That is the only thing that I am not liking on my setup right now.

sas will hold the isc at 7 steps and then you need to wind the air bypass screw to obtain the correct idle for most mitsi's its 750+/-50rpm and gdi 950+/- 50 rpm the reason it sets it to 7 steps is to prevent the plunger resting on the seat of the housing and possibly freezing in position overnight. usually if you clean the carbon around the throttle butterfly then execute the sas actuator your idle will reset to 750 rpm at 7 steps and wont need adjusting via the bypass screw.

I've got serious idling problems and throttle hang but it seems something is very wrong with my car....
the weird thing is...when I unscrew the BISS (free the hole) in sas mode the rpms drops and when I screw it (block the hole) the rpms rise
that's not the way it's supposed to work, is it ?
my car must be from a parallel universe or something :/
anyone has an idea why it doesn't work as it should ?
