Hi!

I was trying to see if my install is working accordingly and decided to add the 0x8425 at MUT E3 to be able to log if the maps are switching.

Once the Evoscan was launched I noticed that E3 was equal to 255 and did not change if I had the switch on or off.

After reviewing some of the posts in here, I moved the 0x8425 to MUT 42. I started to log and it was fixed at 0 no matter what position the switch was on.

Anyone experiencing this?

0 = normal maps

I have a ZT2 wideband that will be wired up soon with a front pipe and high flow cat. I plan on removing the rear 02 sensor and want to avoid a cel.

Does the rear 02 sim require a resistor to be installed for the heater circuit, or is it just a matter of turning this mod on?

no the heater element still needs to be "simulated" with a resistor...

you can just leave the rear-02 in place if u want...

Yeah, it' probably easier to just leave it in. If I didn't have to do the resistor mod I would take it out since it's not doing anything.

Another question I have a 96530006 rom in my EDM/ADM VIII. In this thread there has been discussion about disabling the immobiliser code to get 5.10 working. Does that only apply to USDM versions changing to this rom?

Thanks!

Some roms are interchangeable, so you may be able to switch without any issues. What is your rom number?

88590013 can be upgraded to 88590015 no problems

evl08 the 96530006 immobiliser problem is ONLY for non-native 96530006 users.

tephra,

I changed the MUT to 42 and Evoscan shows "0" all the time. With switch on or off.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

I would first make sure your "enable alternate maps master" option in the mods table is set to 1, If it says 2 it's waiting for a signal from your (most likely absent) ICS switch

eiu2b,

so when you use 96530006 your car doesn't start?

did you try disabling your immobiliser using the faa periphery bit?

Cheers
D.
