hey tephra are the 1byte load, 2byte load, 2byte rpm and 2byte airflow mods patched into your 96260009-v5.10fix2-mods.bin rom. i only see entries in your xml def for the "2byte to 1Byte Load Factor" mod but no xml for the 3D MUT Table so that i can verify. Jack_of_Trades does not have the 3D MUT Table address or the 2byte MUT addresses listed for 96260009 on his thread. do you know where i could find this information?

Using the wife's computer which uses the POS MS Vista, it will not allow me to save the XML document after I made changes. It wants me to "Make sure the path and file name are correct".

I do not normally use Vista since my Mac runs Boot Camp and I use XP on that side. Something I may be overlooking since I'm not a Vista buff?

^ Something is wrong with folder names maybe? Like non-english folder names.. Try saving it on desktop and then moving it into ECUFlash folder..

My Vista box is retarded like that too; save the .xml to your desktop then copy it over to the correct folder.

1. Since installing the patched rom 96530006 my car will stumble sometimes when going back to idle. example let the clutch out to pull forward a few feet then press the clutch in. the idle will drop down to a few hundred rpm. i dont know if it is related to the rom or the full ETS IC kit. I will flash back to the 96400011 rom tomorrow to see if it still stumbles. i have scaled the maf since i installed the parts.

2. i am getting a lot of part throttle knock when transitioning to open loop. again i will see how the cars acts with the orig rom.

Has anyone experienced this? I am using Bryan's(Razorlab) XML.

Why did you rescale the MAF for an intercooler? I'm guessing all of your problems are related to the MAF rescaling.

would anyone have any idea why the boost limit tables would be messed up after patching 94170015 rom with 5.10 ? I had to re do everything after my laptop **** the bed and now I am re doing everything. I didnt come across this problem when i did it the first time.

I also checked the rom and I didnt see anything out of place.

Thanks

Jeremy

yah actually I am. I have a 03 with the 94170008 rom and I instead used the 94170015 rom with the patch. So where should I be looking to check my boost limit definition ?

I checked the xml to see if the boost limit definition in there matched 94170014 and it did.

Thanks Tephra

Jeremy
