the thing with the maf is that it is pretty hard to tune when LTFTs are all within 3% either direction. STFT all over the place, though.
My pos MR DV is giving me problems lately as well. That is most likely the reason STFTs are all over the place.
Just like the above poster, my issues came on hard exactly when I started using the 96530006 rom. But I also realize that I possibly had other issues going on, and the rom switch likely amplified them. Slowly but surely, I am falling in love with my daily driving again. One new part at a time.

with the idle - leave the stock 96530006 values in there.
now check your base idle screw...
start car
drive to warm up
in evoscan there is a button "SAS enable" or similar - hit it.
that will disable ECU IACV control and rely on base idle.
now adjust your BISS so that you base idle is correct ~800rpm

I have already adjusted my BISS. Although, i have not re-adjusted it since porting to the new 9653006 rom from my old 96940011 rom. I will just set everything to stock and re-adjust the BISS.
I still can't figure out why Evoscan will not allow show 1 byte load in the maptracer. It's logging 1 byte fine and it can be seen in the logs, but not in maptrace mode. wierd.
Tephra, how hard would it be to go back to 2 byte load for the time being? Is it the same MUT mod as in 96940011??
Thanks mate!

OK, i just looked at the actuator menu in Evoscan again. There is a Speed Adjustment Screw Mode. I will give that a try and see what it does? I didn't think Evoscan had the ability to make adjustements like this. But then again, i have been out of the tuning world for some time now and things have really taken off!!

Well, i tried the SAS mode in Evoscan. I found that it works, only momentraily, which is just enough time to adjust your BISS. I adjusted mine all the way out and still could not get idle to pick up more than 750rpm. But, i was fully expecting this issue, due to my cams. Unfortunatly, i will need to keep going over the ICS bits until i get it correct.
Still can't seem to figure out why 1 byte load will not show up in maptrace.......which is really a secondary issue, but annoying non-the-less.

copied over my maps this afternoon, dropped in the 015 firmware and did the periphery stuff as well, car drives like it should have from the factory (disabled cold timing retard).
now I just need a clutch and a new wideband o2 sensor
