Actually i disconnected the stock solenoid lines but didn't disconnect the solenoid cable and used MBC like the forge 3 port one with and the boost is lower than stock solenoid now,i didnt copy my boost limit table but it was 319 from 3000 to 7000 rpm, and the stock rom is 230 from 500 to 2500 rpm and drop down to 210 from 2500 to 4000 and 4000 that's where the boost rpm scale stops rpm in the stock rom.

and what about NLTS what shall i do to it ? and if it's the problem how to fix it and let it working ? i am going to look for the knock after i fix the issue so i can log clean pull.

your definition for the boost limit table sounds screwed up.

make sure your 90550001.xml has this entry (or at least the right addresses)
<table name="Boost Limit" address="3814">
<table name="RPM" address="56b6" elements="9"/>
</table>

Then COPY your boost limit from 9864 -> 9055

then retest

<table name="Boost Limit" address="3814">
<table name="RPM" address="4d2e" elements="9"/>
</table>

i have it like this.

and in 98640014 it's like this

<table name="Boost Limit" address="3814">
<table name="RPM" address="4d22" elements="9"/>
</table>
also how can i copy my boost limit from 9864 too 90550001 while the rpm scaling is pretty different,90550001 got much better resolution.

dont worry about the evo7base stuff

just in your 90550001 xml change the RPM axis address to 56b6 and then the RPM axis should match up with 98640014.

if it doesn't, take a screen grab of both tables side by side and post it up...

the axis doesn't really matter that much, no one ever changes it for Boost Limit.

What IS important is the values are big enough so you dont hit fuel cut when you overboost...

Here you go, i am also using ecuflash 1.41 and i watched the boost with boost gauge,it's like 14 psi,i raised the boost on the stock rom which got lower boost limit value and i didnt hit boost cut and with lower boost on tephra rom with higher boost limit it did cut on 5500 rpm.

ok so your "stock" rom has lower boost limit numbers than the 90550001 ROM

that means its NOT boost limit causing the problem.

in "Tephra Mod Options" - just set NLTS to 0, and then reflash and retest.

hey tephra i've been using your patched v5.10 96260009 rom and enjoying it. it's actually flashed on a USDM ecu and runs my JDM VI. i want to give nlts a try but the model, VIII MR, that the 96260009 rom came from was not equipped with a factory clutch switch and so there is no defined pinout in the ecu diagram. it's easy enough to fit a top clutch switch to my car as its identical to a brake light switch, but i'm clueless as to which ecu pin to wire it into. what pin does your patch target for the 96260009 rom. unfortunately, no one as actually tested the nlts on the 96260009 rom before since the VIII MR didn't come with a clutch switch. hope you can help. thanks.

Hi Nitz,

Just work out where the clutch switch is NORMALLY wired and use the same pin.

then conduct the "garage test" for nlts to see if it works
