Add this xml to your romdata/mitsi/evo folder, make sure to select yes when it ask you if you are sure if you want to replace the existing evo7base.xml

You then will be able to see the lean spool and ecu periphery options

Same problem here, I don't see any of the periphery bit options to turn off lean spool.
Does anyone have a xml file for 90550001 that shows the Periphery bits correctly?

Thx.

the xml I posted inthis topic is defined, I have no problems with it. Open it with note pad and you will see the ecu periphery is defined. Make sure you delete your old evo7base.xml first!

hey guys. fairly new to all this but i have been reading and reading and reading. there is ALOT to take in.

but i have a quick question.
i have an evo 8 running the 96530006 rom.
i was just comparing it to my buddies recent tune with the 88590015 rom on his evo 9 and checking out all the differences between mivec vs non mivec.

i noticed the idle section in the 88590015 rom looks much more easier to work with. he only has
target minimum idle
target idle rpm with ac on#1
target idle rpm with ac on #2
etc etc

on my rom 96530006 rom i have
Desired ISCV intial step position with AC off-Neutral
Desired ISCV intial step position with AC off-Drive
Desired ISCV intial step position with AC on-Neutral
Desired Idle RPM-Neutral
Desired Idle RPM-Drive
etc etc..

should i just ignore the Drive tables and only focus on the neutral tables?
also, im currently having problems throwing p0505. all the searching points me to icsv steps being off from whats being demanded.

could i simply copy his settings and transfer them over to mine and see if it works? he has different values then i do and he doesnt have problems with p0505.
should also add that i have tried the sas mode in evoscan and turning the biss screw to around my target rpm. and its also a new iac so its not dirty

also, is there any reason some of his tables are named differently from mine?

TIA
