Evoscan help
So I got my Tractrix cable in today and wanted to see if everything is working, so I hooked it up but I get a dialog box saying " USB cable device not responding". But when I use ECUFlash to download my ecu it worked fine. Anybody have any ideas? I uninstalled the usb driver and reinstalled onto Evoscan, USB drivers, x84, and still nothing.

When it asks you to install for the first time I just did the normal install, then I heard that you had to install it directly to EVoscan, so I un-installed it, re-installed directly to evoscan and it still won't work. I was looking up fixes and ran across this guy on youtube starting up evoscan, I did everything the same except after he installs the USB driver x86, another dialog box pops up for the serial port, I never got that pop up box.

What is that for? What does Baudrate mean??
The usual connection speed for most (computer related) devices is 9600 BAUD, Port [insert COM port # here], data bits set to 8, Parity: None, Stop Bits 1, and no flow control.
I remember when I fired up Evoscan I had a similar problem, in where I could not connect either.
Can you post a screenshot of the problem? Or explain the steps you are taking to connect Evoscan to your car? I'm sure your just missing an easy step.

All BAUD means is how much information is sent per second.
