Did you get this sorted? I've got the same thing happening and have tried everything you have mentioned to get it working.

EEE pc 1000h, xp pro sp3, set to super hybrid and also tried running it plugged into power.

The only thing that I can get working in EvoScan is the AYC logging.

Mitsulogger, ecu flash, scan tech all work without any issues.

I tried this patch...

I installed version 2.5, and then copied this patch on top of the installed version.

Works just fine as far as I can tell.

I did find one problem however. In certain circumstances, you can logging without any update to the screen displayed values. To preproduce this problem you can try the following steps.

1) turn the ignition to "On" to boot up the ECU.
2) With the ignition in the "On" position, engine off, start a data logging session.
3) observe the data screen, you should see some values logged.
4) while still logging, start the engine.
5) observe the data screen to see if you are logging something.

result: data screen appears to be frozen, no updates are shown.

expected result: you should see live data streaming on the screen.

notes: a log file is produced, but the data looks suspicous. I haven't made any detailed analysis on the data produced yet.

But other than that, thanks! works as exptected.

Tried v2.6 over the top of a fresh v2.5 install and it still wouldn't work. Changed the asus hybrid engine from super(highest performance level) to high (second highest level) and it worked...no idea why. I uninstalled the pos asus hybrid engine tool and it works now.

now that's interesting.

I'll have to try that on mine. I tested 2.6 and it worked with the super performance, but it was late and I didnt' have time to test all the different permutations.

It would be nice to have a definative answer on how to fix this problem.

what is causing this problem? try and find the permutations.. it must be a timing issue, have you tried with multithreading disabled too?

Always in boost. Did you buy this car used? I'm wondering if someone changed the baudrate to 62500. If you didn't have the mod on ECUflash when you pulled the ROM it won't show up.
