To try and solve the problem have you tried changing the endian in ecuflash? On version 1.30 the endian should be "little".
If you're seeing something like XXX it usually means an item is not properly defined or it's missing the scaling.

no no my good sir, everything is being read and can be changed on the table,
here is an example of what it looks like
IE: high fuel map
3...|1...|1..|1..|1..|1..|9.8|9.6|9.4|
when is should read like this
3000|14.7|13.5|12.9|12.1|10.3|9.8|9.6 etc
i can change all the values and it reads the tables and info it just seems like the font is too big for the cell so the program just wrote the first digit of the number followed by ... so that it doesnt have to resize the cell to occomodate the number.

map
Does it truncate the numbers on every map or only on the fuel map? So when you bring up the map, the engine load and rpm appear correctly and it's just the afr numbers that only show the first digit correct?
If so, can you do this: Open the high octane fuel map, click the edit header then edit map definition. click the scalings button next to AFR. Choose AFR then click Edit. Tell me what you are showing as Format, Data Type, and Data endian.
