I'd like to give it a shot, but don't really understand how to do it. Care to explain a bit further? I see the periphery tables in ECUFlash.

 

S2, Search this forum for the blobbits code. Use Ecuflash 1.35 or higher. Then find the FBA periphery and then change the "0" bit to disable or "0"/

 

This is odd b/c i'm looking at my rom, stock rom, and tephra pre-patched rom and the all have "0" for bit 7 (FBA) ... does that mean by default it is disabled?

 

I think Bit 7 is the incorrect bit. Tephra mentions it is Bit 0 and seems to work.

 

I'm using 90550001 rom, and fba was set to 0009 (bit0 and bit3 active, lean sppöl enabled) switching to 0008 (bit3 active, leanspool disabled) won't disable leanspool. AFR stays the same.

Setting start leanspool and stop leanspool to 2500 made slightly lower AFRs.

 

so leaving the RPM's at stock (2500/7500) but changing FBA bit0 didn't have any affect on your AFR's?

Well I looked at the code for 90550001 and I'm 99% sure its still 0xFBA bit0.

So I am not sure how you are testing it exactly but something isn't right

 

did we ever figure out the correct bit for 96530006?

 

FBA bit 0 is the same for my Rom ID# 94170015? If so I'll test in the morning or afternoon.

 

it should be. It looks to be the same on my rom (94170014). I haven't tried it yet.

 

Please forgive my ignorance. I think Lean spool is disabled on my now 015 teprha 5.10 patched ROM, when I had 008 I had no problems at all. Now that I switched over to 015 my MPG sucks and my wideband maxes out at 10.0 when i give it slight gas to maintain speed. I am assuming that is caused by disabling Lean Spool, if it is how do I put it back to "normal" or do I need to re-tune my whole car???
