fed up with knock control
#121
EVERYONE- DROP THE BASHING! if it continues I will pm a mod to have this thread cleaned up
this is a thread that I created that everyone can benefit from and the last thing i want is to have it locked.
I have a JAM longblock and i spoke/bugged JAM all summer about it and I am extremely happy with the build, and the customer service i received from jam was top notch. that was my experience.
Since making this thread i have had a few people pm me about there motors to discuss the problems ive had and they are having, and guess what... they represent virtually every builder out there. Phantom knock is not a function of the engine build, it is a function of a knock sensor tuned for stock harmonics on a severely modified engine.
ok back on topic:
I heart tephra

for good measure
Ok it's coded up - I havn't tested it outside the simulator yet, but it should be good to go.
I will send a test to razorlab first - if anyone else (that's good at testing) wants a go as well let me know with your ROMID (not pm, in this thread)
This is what it looks like:
It ONLY changes the knock for ignition timing pull (NOT OCTANENUMBER timing pull, and not fuel dump on knock..)
So basically if you say 50% then instead of 8 knocksum it will use 4 knocksum. You will still log 8 KS thou.
