Readiness code

Just wondering if anyone has figured out how to bypass or get the readiness code to be complete w/ e85 conversion, test pipe, rear o2 sim. I 'failed' my emissions test due to readiness not being complete- no codes though.

rear 02?

dont do the rear 02 disable, enable rear02 simulator (in 5.10), and either leave the o2 sensor there or wire in a resistor...

I did enable the rear o2 and left it in there with the plug anti-foulers. Should I take the anti-foulers out?

With the JDM map your front 02 will never be ready. We need a way to report all monitors ready like the subaru people.

My front O2 would not set with the JDM map after 2 months. Once I put in the stock MAP and flashed the car back to stock it was ready in 5 miles.

Don't have the JDM map sensor and what about the faa disable are you talking about? Is there a certain periphery that I should change or make sure is a certain number?

yeah if you do the 'old style' FAA bit disable to fix rear02 then you wont pass the readyness test.

look in the rear02 main thread whereever it is..

I got everything to pass except for 02 sensor(not ready). No faults in the system. Is there a certain trick to getting this to pass- I drove for about 20 miles and I got nothin. EGR passed, Heated 02 passed, evap passed, cat passed(even though I don't have one). I installed the rear 02 subroutine patch- that was the only way to get it to read at all. I have the rear o2 enabled under mods. My periphery0 hex is 54DA. My periphery00 hex is 5650.

I had the same issue. I ended up having to put a stock MAP and stock rom back in and everything passed within 5 mins of driving. I wish we had the ability to force all the rediness codes like the subaru guys do.

I'm running e85 so I don't know if I have that option of going stock. There's gotta be a way I would think.

The rear O2 should pass with flying colors as long as the rear O2 heater check periphery bit has not been disabled.

Very strange about front O2 not showing readiness. There is no connection between the JDM MAP mods and the front O2 sensor. With the discussion we are having by PM, I'm kinda wondering if perhaps the ROM that you're using is slightly buggered. I had it happen to me once before. The car would run pretty normal except when I got on it, and then it wouldn't go near the boost target. I reflashed with a clean ROM, and all was good.

It was my impression that the ECU looked at the front O2 signal during certain MAP pressure levels. This was the only thing I changed and a few days later I passed my emissions test. I don't understand it fully myself.
