96940011 And P0300 Codes..

I tried searching, but didn't really come up with much.

My car with it's fresh rebuild is occasionally throwing P0300's now because of a noisy clutch. (No knock has been recorded/logged yet.

Is there a defined way to get rid of the P0300 yet on the 96940011's?

As soon as I get an answer I will have the thread closed/deleted as to not clutter up the Ecuflash forum..

Thanks all.

P.S. Does switching to the other ROM work? Bryan (Razorlab?)

tkk, I only saw the P0300 code 2 or 3 times when I used the 0011 ROM and never after my clutch install. I switched to the 96530006 ROM months back and have had no ill effects and not one P0300. Worth a shot.

I am thinking that that is what I need to do.

Any chance you could send me a few things to help me get a jump on it?

All the files I would need to get it going?

I think I would need the EvoScan data file, the .xml for the rom, and the actual map file.

I feel so bad asking for this stuff, but after three months of not having a car to tune/play with/tryout stuff on, I am very far behind..

When I got my car back from my Buschur build, I started getting the P0300.
I switched from the 0008 to the 0015 ROM and it has done the trick. I know it's hit or miss, but it seems to have worked for me.

I am going to make the switch to the new ROM, and report back. Hopefully I won't run into any hiccups. Last night I fixed my O2 sensor problem, so I should be good to go to start her up and put a few miles on her today after work.
