They just told you what it really does... Stock map sensor cant read past like 2lbs. JDM/Evo X map sensor is a 3bar map. Which will allow you to log boost via your logging software(i use evoscan which the xml code has been integrated already for months now) with ease and with a small mod to your roms xml you can setup direct ecu controlled boost and/or gear dependant boost control since your car can then actually read the actual amount of boost the cars running. And since its a mitsu part with zero fitment issue then it 100% plug an play with the JDM map mod which is a nobrainer with these detailed instructions, from the one of the forum ecu flash gurus.

Somebody correct me if im wrong but otherwise to get these benefits youd have to buy a gm map an wire it in the stock maps place or is that the BCS?
