I was using ecuflash 1.34 for months no problems until recently. I can not get it to connect to the Ecu.
So I upgraded to the new 1.40 version off openecu's website, and now ecuflash just freezes every time you try to communicate with the ecu. WTF?

Does anyone have an older version I can download? I maybe can't seem to find another version besides 1.40.

remove any old driver installs (in add/remove programs)

i have been running 1.40 and its fine

 

Im using 1.40 but Im an 04 with 9642008 ROM. I havent had a problem with it yet.

 

If it freezes during read/write to the ecu contact sales at tactrix and they will help you get your cable to work.

 

I think the cable is my problem... I have tried to uninstall and reinstall a dozen times using two different computers and the same FREEZE happens.

I have contacted Tactrix so hopefully they can solve my problem.

just my 1.4 freezies..but 1.34 still work fine...so now i just use 1.34
