So I'm confused about some of the functionality that this unit offers. Does this GPS unit also run ecuflash? I see that it can flash the ecu, but can I tune with it? If so, does it provide the same functionality as a laptop running evoscan and ecuflash?

Battery low was part of the problem. I'll buy another cable today. If it works i will sell the one I currently have.

Bought a 1.3U cable since it seems it allows me to do everything with the GPS unit (including clearing codes). I'll be posting my Tactrix for sale very soon.

Hi Hamish,

Any news about LM-2 support in the future?
What do you need from them in order to implement LM-2 support in Evoscan?

Cheers

no, removing all unselected items from the saved logs does not make sense.

EvoScan is unique, in that it allows the user to tick and untick items during logging.

This means the log file can not ahead of time predict the users actions for items to be logged. hence all columns are present.

I could add an option to the EvoScan Logging menu that when ticked, will post-process any log file, and removes all blank columns if you want? It will consume more I/O, battery and cpu to do this after each time you press stop datalogger.

would be useful as when I view the csv files I have to hide all of the empty items, although I guess I could rearrange the items so the ones I want are at the top of the list so appear at the begining of the csv file

No you can't change any parameters with the GPS, you just load the rom onto the GPS and then you can flash it to the ECU. Also you cannot read the logs on the GPS it will only give live reading with the gauge function, but it does have peak and hold.
