e85 fpgreen 1 walbro...
so i put some 1000cc injectors in the car last night and filled up with e85, got everything situated and through it on the dyno. i had the afr right where i wanted it at 11.9 - 12.0 across the board. made 460hp with 480tq . i pulled it off the dyno and punched it a few times on the street, everything went smoothly, but throughout the night, the afr started going really lean. it would go into boost and hit 12.0 then quickly ramp to 12.8-12.9? i went into the fuel map and put some fuel in, no change. put more in, no change. made it as rich as the ecu can get, no change? this is with 1000cc's and 1 walbro, does this sound like the 1 walbro just cant cut it anymore?

What are your IDC's for those runs? It may be premature, but sometimes when converting over to E85 it clogs the fuel pump assembly filter causing a lean condition. Not sure if that would happen on only one tank though. Also, what type of injectors and scaling are you using?

precision 1000cc's scaled to 609. idcs were pretty high up in the 90s, getting up to 99 up top. hitting 350-360 load cells

lol yep, definatly in the 30+ range. i had no intentions of going that high, but we were having trouble getting past 25 psi until we switched the spring in the wastegate and did a pull and spiked 34 and put down 485 tq lol. i love this fuel. the car idles and cruises smoother than it ever did on pump gas. now i just need to get that double pumper in there, its sitting in the garage. just gotta do some research before i jump into that install.

I am trying to say it might be a little better but its still gonna be "done"
460 is the usual safe maximum we see on 1000s and one pump and maybe 490 max with 2. We had one car with a 35r make 490 but it was doing what you described and the boost had to be dropped to keep it consistent. It did make 460whp at that point though with 12:1 AFRs out the top.

As John Bradley stated your maxing out both at the same time. One of the poorest choices you can make in a turbo car is to lean on your fuel system. I like to always keep 20% more fuel in reserve on both my pump and injectors at my maxim *desired* power level. Leaning on the pump and/or the injectors has always ended up poorly from what I've experienced over the past couple years. You should be looking at a double pumper AND at a minimum 1200's and probably 1400's.

I went from arounfd 12.5 to around 10 mpg driving like a madman and around 17 down to 14 driving more civil

That scaling seems suspect. A single Walbro 255lph with factory wiring won't deliver it's full flow potential.
FWIW, I have witnessed a rewired 255lph and FIC 1000s generate more power on E85 with a larger turbo than you'd realistically be able to get from that FP Green.
I'd take a good look at what you already have before you go off chasing something else.

I agree with Ted, though the scaling seems close for 1000s depending on latency. I will doublecheck what most of basemaps are at but I think I am in the 540-585 range.
Dave, I went from an absolute best of 27 (average 24.5) on gasoline to 19.6 and a best of 21 on E85.
