No fuel trims: no adjusting, no control?
I check the 89980000 (EVO IX GT RA) on my EVO RS (88580014) and I noticed that the fuel trims stay at 0.
No Oxygen Feedback Trim on cold and hot condition.
Is there a reason why the fuel trims are not processed?
Perhaps is there an ECU periphery disabled?

The exhaust gas are sampling correctly from front oxygen sensor.
Voltage: from 0 to 0,937 Volt.
With the 88580014 fuel trims are ok, with 89980000 no correction, remains to 0.

If it is oscillating rapidly then it is running closed loop, so there is a problem with logging the STFT, although I've not come across this before.
The fuel trim code is a nightmare where it is hidden amongst routines that use lots of indirect lookup tables, so it is not one I can easily disassemble for you on your ROM.
Is the ECU you're using the correct one for your market? Are you swapping JDM for EDM? JDM IX is different.

I've an EVO IX RS EDM. My ROM it's the same as Dave’s 88580014 but I have swapped the ROM because a lot of functions are not supported in the 88580014.
You have an EVO full JDM with all the hardware just as mine (SAS, MAT, MAP sensor, DUAL Solenoid) and you have also the "right" ECU with the “right” ROM. But I have only the hardware because the ROM it's an "adapted ROM" for my EVO.
I believe that the Mitsubishi thinks that all the EVO IX RS in Europe go to Gr. N and that the ECU will be replaced with a Gems or Motec.
I tried 89980000 (RA GT) and it's ok, I also tried the 88570008 but the EVO doesn't start.
I see that the address of your fuel trims it’s the same as 89980000.
Is it possible that the RA GT ROM (and RS I supposed) use a different subroutine and calculation system to add or decrease fuel?

Hi Simo, yes it's the same pinout.
I noticed that there is no correction effectively. So I don't understand if the programmer of the IX RA ROM wants this (no correction) or there is a "problem" to log the fuel trim. Perhaps Mitsu programmers would save some clock cycle?
The STFT is it calculated only with O2 sensor?
I don't know if the hardware of RA ECU is different from the standard ECU.

I used EVOScan and boost (MDP) (MUT38) sampling it's ok with 88580014 and 89980000.
To raise the pressure you can remove the restrictors near to the 2 wastegate solenoids. You will raise the pressure 0,2-0,3 bar.
Now I'm testing the 89980000 but to understand the correct function of this ROM/RA ECU I need the help of someone that bought this RA ECU. I need to know if the fuel trims control remains to 0 or not.
I also compared the MUT table of UK(JDM) GSR version and the result is the same. So I must understand where is the problem of 89980000 ROM. Different hardware or what?

No Dave, there is no change in o2feedbacktrim in 89980000.
I noticed also that the address “BD” in MUT is not the MAT(?). The value starts from 100 (cold) and while the car is warming up the value goes down instead of raising!
I used the same formula of MAF Air Temp Scaled.
