I tried the new v2.6beta8 tonight and it seems like it was an evoscan thing... rpm_speed_ratio_average was logging 18xx @ idle. Unfortuneately, I was unable to edit any of the formulas (IDC, and the HP/TQ stuff), or edit anything, for that matter. Unable to edit, out of bounds of array...

I guess I will do a couple pulls w/ the beta8 v. just to get the rpm speed ratio so I can narrown down the rpm/speed to gear table. and just use my 2.5 for everything else...
edit: found my problem/found another issue... So I realized that it gave me another icon to the program (lil world) for 2.5, and just changed around all of the data items. Found the icon to the beta v. but was in the wrong folder, placed it back in the right folder, and it worked, and I could edit the data items...
But now I cant get the WB to log... I set the com ports to match (comport1) and still it wont log the wb. I go back to 2.5 and it logs wb in (comport1) LOL

Just something interesting you may want to consider for future V6 updates... the possibility to disable the WGDC 100% until value for 5th and 6th gear. With 5th and only having enough boost that I don't overshoot I get weird jumps dropping under/over the minimum value (see pic). This is with the setting at 195 load. My solution for now is just to set the load lower, and raise the boost a little bit in that area.
I was also thinking that setting BCS to 0% in valet mode would be nice. I would be more comfortable with a higher RPM limit if that were the case.

Of course I roll up the boost curve to more natural levels after 3500RPM. You know, in case I was being chased by zombies or something and needed to go 160 mph.

so I finally got a chance to log a lil rpm_speed _ratio and gear... I have a couple questions.
I logged Neutral @ 1801.787 / 1st gear from 570-102.99 / 2nd gear from 85-71.8 / 3rd gear from 57.8-54.77 / 4th gear from 46.5-40.5 / 5th gear from 33.24-28.3. This was normal driving.
1. Is it safe to assume that I input the lower value (value towards the end of the gear) in the rpm/speed to gear table? Should I leave a point or 2 to be safe? ex. @ neutral, my table reads 1802, but logged reads 1801.787, should I leave 1802, input 1801, or put 1800?
2. I noticed it was NOT catching the gear, right away! I would shift, then 3 or 4 cells down it would read the right gear... The table posted by fostytou was very close, but 1 or 2 points off for me, but I not sure if this was the cause...
Off Topic Question: can a ex. leak cause knock? I have a huge leak @ my DP and WB bung... Im noticing quite a bit more knock than usual...
TIA

nonschlont, you don't need to log both 2 byte and 1 byte load. Also, it looks like your 2-byte to 1-byte load factor is 1.2 in your ROM but 1.3 in EvoScan.
Ditch 2 byte load and change the formula for 1 byte to 1.2*x (or change the value in your Tephra options in your ROM to 1.3)

I apologize in advance if these questions have been answered, but I did search and read through this post.
A few questions about the tables:
(1) Tephra Mod Options Table -- does 0 = off and 1 = on ?
(2) I noticed the accel enrichment table was different than all the other tables I have seen (mine increases are smaller). I am wondering if this is why I have reported smaller swings in AFR changes. Should I just use the values I have been using or have you found these larger enrichment values to be helpful?
(3) Boost control -- Is boost control via BCS WGDC? I am still using load and GM3 port to control boost. Do I just take my boost WGDC settings and apply them to the boost gear table and the same for the desired load (reducing / adjusting for higher gears)?
(4) Injector Scaling -- This looks different to me as well. What should stock 9 injectors flow ? Currently the Map says 513 cc/ min.
(5) How do the Alternate Maps Fuel / Timing / Boost get triggered? Is this so one can have a pump setup and race gas (hi boost setup) with the flip of a switch? I am wondering if I can just leave these alone or if I need to copy my standard maps into these as well.
(6) How do the various Valet settings work?
Here are my Accel Enrichment Values:
1.625
1.5
1.125
1
1
1.20312
1.32812
1.42969

1.10156
1.10156
1.10156

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!! I can't wait to test these features ...

Also, would you please try to answer my other questions as you are using the mod and understand how it works? Thanks!!

Would you please expand on how you did this? I am guessing the DDS3 has an trigger output, but what did you connect it to and how does it trigger the Alt Maps?
Also, would you please try to answer my other questions as you are using the mod and understand how it works? Thanks!!

The stock Inj. scaling is 513
If you want to trigger it manually you can use the "jack of trades" harness"
found here as well as instructions for hooking it up..
http://www.dsm-ezine.com/evoVIII_adc_switch.html
The DDS3 will send a 12v signal to the ECU that is dropped when flow falls outside user set window...low or high flow it will drop the 12v signal to 0v...switching to a less aggressive set of maps.
I really don't use valet...I believe auto valet is enabled every time you start the car & enable valet you can turn on whenever you want it.
