I'm going to try to attach a log I took showing EGR vs coolant temp. At 161 deg F the EGR starts acting normal. Up until that point its open.
Also tephra PM me your email and I'll send you the rom image that is in the car from the log I'm going to attach.

Also I just got back from doing a couple 1-4 gear pulls. Gear based boost control works and it works great as we already know. I do have 1 question on this though. How do I set the boost control high/low crossover point? For example say my second gear rpm/speed is 72 and I want the low range to be 1-2 gear and high range to be 3-5 gears. Do I set the crossover to 72? I want to take advantage of the different high/low crossover correction intervals as the lower gears require a faster correction interval.
Drop boost on high knock works better than I expected. This is a must have IMO for road racers who can't watch the gauges. Its seamless in operation because even though you cut back WGDC you can't reel back a compressor that is spinning at 100+ thousand RPM's. Therefore boost tapers off slowly, nothing harsh. The stock timing pull combined with reeling back boost really gets rid of the knock quite well.
To take advantage of the drop boost on AFR out of range do I have to input mrfreds patch? I'd assume so because how else would the code know how to decipher the voltage I'm feeding from my wideband to the rear O2 wire? Also do I have to enable mrfreds closed loop on/off to use drop boost when AFR out of range?

re the 100% wgdc Q:
if the WGDC is ever 100% then it skips the TPS correction... since 100% is "i want max now"
re the gear based Q:
you need to setup the speed/rpm -> gear table... the gear then cross references the X axis in the BDEL/WGDC tables
re the AFR-range check Q:
No the rear02 simulator is built in to tephramod 5.10+, so just wire up the wideband to the rear02. You will need to change the scaling in the ecuflash XML though to match your voltages being spat out by the WB
No you dont need to use mrfreds closed loop patch

Where do I put in my 1/ml and bL/mL values into the XML? Right now I have 0x8738 for 1/ml and 0x873c for my bL/mL values in my XML.
For the high/low crossover (so that I can have different correction intervels) do I pick a value between my second and third gear. Or is the high/low crossover superseded by the gear based boost table?
Thanks for the clarification on the TPS.
Everything is working really well. I mean this thing drives so nice now its amazing. Its really nice to be able to mash the gas in the lower gears now without the car sliding around.

whats 1/mL... bl/ml??
log the speed/rpm_ratio in evoscan (xml provided)... that should give you an idea of what to put in each gear... as explained b4 it will 'snap' to the closest gear so low gears like 1,2,3 should be pretty definitive, only 4,5,6 will need to be fairly accurate in terms of what ratio to put in...
ps - I will finish my comparision of the ROM's for EGR today...

Yeah, today I zeroed out my EGR duty% map and I still get full EGR when starting the car up.
I got all my gears set, and I can control boost with each gear. I was just wondering if I can use the two boost correction intervals or if I'm stuck using one. No biggie if I am.
1/mL...bl/ml is something mrfred used. How do I let the V6 rom know what my wideband is spitting out?

sorry officer I my ECU has gear based boost control, so now I always light up 1st and 2nd
You need to change the scaling in the ecuflash XML for the WideBand. Let me know if you need help doing that...
For V6 proper - I think I will change it from "AFR" to "volts" since volts is universal, and forces the user to work out the AFR in volts anyways...
