Tephra I will test it! What exactly is 96530006? USDM EVO 8 ROM?

I just want to be able to keep my intercooler sprayer and and ICS switch in place.

I currently run 94170015 so I have no problem trying this one.

96530006 is the EDM 8 I think.

Not sure if it supports ICS or not - I guess you will find out eheh

i just reviewed the code and the previous Question of what happens with TPS correction when at 100% WGDC is:

TPS correction is APPLIED AFTER regardless of wgdc %.

Would people prefer TPS correction to be skipped when WGDC is 100%?

 

Anyone have a bone stock 96530006 ROM? I just want to test it on a stock ROM for now to see what happens...

The EDM version VIII comes with the ICS switch and does support intercooler spray - although the standard settings more or less ensure it will not operate! These settings can be changed though.

 

Might not be a bad idea, but it might not change much as far as actual operation either...

 

I like it the way it is. If my throttle is not fully open then I sure as hell don't want full boost. The problem for me was going half throttle mid corner in third gear with enough engine load for the turbo to go full boost. I don't want that.

 

I wouldn't, that is sort of the reasoning behind the correction.

I'm drivng around with it since a long time now.

No issue at all. Altmaps is working fine, 100% WGDC below load limit is ok, Rear O2 simulation is working.
Boost drop on high knock works.

I did not test the valet mode (I don't need it) and the NLTS.

yeah V6 should be fine to use, however I plan todo V7 which is V6 with a few minor fixes and changes for other things

 

So will there still be an official V6 release or will it just wait till V7?
