TephraMOD V6 - testing!

Tephra I tested 96530006 ROM out on my 2003 EVO8. I ran 94170008 thru 94170015 ROM's, running 0015 currently and the car runs great on that ROM.
The car would not start, it would crank over but not fire. I have a JDM Map sensor installed so that should not prohibit it from running in fact that ROM should use that MAP sensor correct?
I also got a SES light and the error was P0513, it references DTC P0513: Immobilizer Malfunction, however I did copy over my Immobilizer and typically an Immobilizer not transfered will start a car but shut it down after a couple of seconds running. This was not the case, the car cranked but did not start. I put my 94170015 ROM back in and the car fired up no problem.
Let me know what you think, anything I can try?

when swapping major romids (ie 9417 -> 9653) you either need to disable the immobiliser (bit3 of 0xFAA) OR do the 0xFFA bit copy.
Both options are outlined here:

So I copied my 9417 immobilizer hex into the 9653 and will give it another shot tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
Didn't realize that would stop the car form even starting....interesting!

well try disabling the immob first - that way you can rule that out as the cause of non-start.
otherwise the next thing will be valet mode - just bump it to 3000rpm as the test .. 96530006 has some weird bug with valet mode after flash... havn't worked it out :|

Will flashing the wrong ROMid specifically 94170015 to 9350006) ever cause irrepairable harm to my ECU? If I can get a positive "it's fine" then I'd be willing to test all kinds of ridiculous stuff.
