Sound right?
woah ... sorry if this isn't the right place, feel free to point me to the appropriate thread if this has already been covered, but are you telling me 9417 uses the 1 bar MAP sensor but 9653 doesn't use anything at all? So is the MAP sensor pretty much US only emissions related then? And is that going to impact OBD2 e-check or are can we handle that via periphery?

yeah i think it's only for emissions.

Zach - can you check out the difference between the ROM's for emissions readyness?

Yeah cause that will be a big non-starter for most US Evo's I would assume :O

I love you long time!

Did I see a mention of map switching without a physical switch, by a pedal?

Yep, though the car needs to be shut off to do so, so if the intent is for failsafe map switching with alky injection and stuff you'll still need to use the ADC0F input.

How about map switching with pedal and failsafe with ADC0F input?

Jumperalex, I used 96530006 to replace 96940011 and have no issues with OBD and as Gear Head stated. Direct Boost and MAP sensor reading work like a charm.

right but what about switching from 9417? And have you done an e-check with it?

I do hear ya though about direct boost and map sensor reading.

No echeck. I used Scan tech and so all the same checks and answers with both ROMS.

I'll be trying the 965 rom switch on my car tomorrow after work. I have to do a resistor mod for my rear O2 sensor, but after I do that I'll also try it for an official emissions test too. sorry to take this off topic but does anybody remember off hand which resistor works correctly?

ok testers - can you let me know if you find the 1% wgdc accuracy worthwhile?

I am thinking of dumping that section of code.

It add's a little bit of complexity and is slower than the original code - so if it's not noticable or anything then I might dump it :|

Hello Tephra

for me it's not.
Basically there is a minor difference between a 1% and 2% accuracy.

If you can get the code to work faster, that's a small price to pay
