This is only semi- relevant, but is there a way to decrease the number of times something is polled to log in evoscan? IE, I really like logging gear, it helps me keep my pulls straight when I do a bunch on the way home from work... but I really only need to log it every 3 or 5 passes through the requests. Is there a lower priority flag or something I can set for that?

I installed my Jack of Trades map switching harness today for use with my Aquamist kit.

I've now run into the problem that there are no Alternate BDEL or BWGDC 3D tables! It's using my BCLO + 0 as target and it always thinks I'm overboosting.

Here is the information I have found:

Here is what a stock 94170015 OBDII readyness check looks like:

Here is what a modified (this is what I use, I disable EGR and EVAP) 94170015 OBDII readyness check looks like:

Here is what the bone stock (switched to work on my car, but everything else is bone stock) 96530006 OBDII readyness check looks like:

Does that help you? Looks like it has EGR and EVAP disabled to begin with, will this cause a problem for some of the guys where their state plugs into their OBD2 port? PA does not do this, at least not for me so I don't have to worry about it.

Zach, they don't plug your car in because you are exempt due to driving under 5000miles a year. Even my DSM passes, I am emissions exempt and you've seen that car! On any OBD2 car they will plug it in if you drive over 5000 miles a year and if something doesn't match up with the computer system back at harrisburg then you'll fail on the spot. Maryland does the same thing but its every 2 years not every year like PA. Travis can give you details if you'd like to know exactly what monitors you need ready and what ones can be pending, However you can't fail a cat converter no matter what, but I think you can fail up to 1, as long as its not the cat or rear 02 which tests the cat.

If the EGR is disabled on the 96530006 by default then anyone who switches from 96940011 can remove the EGR?

Actually not all PA ha this OBD test - Allegheny county does but most in PA have the visual and gas cap test, my brother-in-law just got setup to due OBD emissions in center county (mostly due to me bugging him) but he only gets a few a year that actually require it, me being one of the only....

I was told that you can pass with one test not ready as long as it wasn't evap or cat (which is rear O2). But my brother-in-law passed a car that had 1 check not ready and it was evap? so maybe the only 1 you cant get by is the cat (rear O2) check.

now i run acumus's patch that allows all my ready monitors to always be ready no matter what i have disabled - this allows me to never worry again about passing.

use 2.6 beta whatever, and set the "priority" to whatever, ie "priority=5" means every 5 loops... yeah I asked Hamish to add that feature

I have my fuel trims at priority=50, tps=priority=2, speed=priority=5 etc etc so I am basically logging EVERYTHING USEFUL ALL THE TIME

Zach - I dont sorry, maybe if we choose 96530006 as the universal 8 rom (except for dual solenoid guys - 96260009) then it needs to be looked into?

tephra, did you see my post? There are no Alternate BDEL or BWGDC 3D tables and it doesn't use the primary ones! When alt-maps are on, it's using my BCLO + 0 as target and it always thinks I'm overboosting.

I can see the alternate BDEL and BWGDC 3D tables just fine?

They both have 0's in them by default so that is probably why you are getting BCLO+0 and 0 WGDC. Sounds like your def is messed up and those tables aren't showing for you.

Got it working! I have succesfully working everything is showing as enabled and ready under readyness checks.

We are set!

Tephra, at this point we are ready for v7, do you want to send me a version and I can apply the patches to a stock v7 for distribution with the patches applied when ready?

V7 will require a lot of testing since I can't do any of the testing myself anymore. I expect the first version not to work properly :|
