Yes, they are. But you have to use the new 3D tables.
You will have to rescale them to psi, and incorporate all the other stuff. But you only use the new tables. (And boost error correction, boost adder, and boost limit tables)

You can pick up the rom / xml that phenem posted where all of this has already been done for you.

It's download #2. It works.

thanks but it wasn't those bits I was thinking of it was just the resolution bits that relate to the WGDC correction with the load based boost.
here's the link;

the main interest is changing the WGDCC.

The application of mrfred's psi based boost control is exactly the same as any other ROM. I applied this MOD with the ROM's I posted. So the WGDCC acts exactly as it would with an unmodified ROM with just the boost MOD done. However where Tephra adds more to it is within the gear based WGDC control. You must use those maps when tuning the WGDC with his ROM. Once implemented correctly it is working like a charm.

The way i understand it, 96530706 works on all evo 8s.
There is a download in this thread with V7 for this rom id, maybe page 7 or so.

Edit: It is actually post #651

you have to change your immobilizer code or disable the immobilizer

96530706 IS NOT a USDM rom. So if anything WE should be more worried about it than you. But it works.

In keeping with the newish ROM ID versioning scheme, and since V6 was skipped & those changes rolled into V7, when the ROMs are officially released will they be released as e.g. 88590715?

I do not know the mods etc on your car, but basiclly you want to copy over all your tuned tables into the new V7 rom, either in primary or alt, depending on what you are doing with the car.....
