Double check both multipliers and check for boost leaks. I haven't heard any other reports of load being off and mine is perfect.

You can also confirm it against 2 byte or ecuload (up to 255)

There is no such thing as ROM 94170015, 14....08 anymore. We merged all the ROM's into a single ROM that all EVO 8's can run (not year specific). Any USDM EVO 8 can run 96530006 and Tephra has a v7 thread coming out really soon....

I just spent a month tuning the 94170015 rom with partial V5.1 and V6......

Can i just copy and paste my tables and etc into this new rom, or do i need to do all my tuning all over again?

I know that the addresses of the tables would be layed out differently for this version, but the AFR numbers, or Boost numbers, or Timing numbers can be copied and pasted in to those tables, right?

Please say so....

Yes that can be done with any ROM as long as that car ECU will run that ROM, which all USDM EVO8's will 96530006 ROM ID with some modification to it. Wait until Tephra releases v7 and watch for my thread that will have the USDM versions and SD applied to them.

Phenom, I have that full ZIP package and looked at again tonight. only thing is, it states it is based off of the evo9base.xml....?

I have like I said the 96530006.xml, the 96530706.xml, and the 96530706-v7t6-mods-phenem.bin...

Point me in the right direction. I am sure I will need to add the code for Omni 4 Bar, and some other small things. Or maybe Mfred already has a patch for this? As well as the PSI Based Boost control...? I don't remember where I got it, but some one sent it to me to test. At that time i was not where I am now. So maybe with a little help i can move on to this bad boy...Thanks for any help you can.

Are there any plans to incorporate the Tephra mods into the Evo7 ROM's?

Basically I am hoping to make use of the following.
Per Gear Boosting.
CEL on knock.
IC Spray on knock.

Tephra,

Do you know if the EVO 7's can run 96530006? I would imagine they can since the 8 is based off the 7's.

What do you think?

Yeah I am not sure exactly what the differences are. You might have to run a 8 computer in your 7. That would a whole lot easier and then you will know for sure everything is set. You can pick up an 8 computer from someone and drop it in and run 9653 for sure, I just don't know if you will have to change any pins around.

we have an option for alt maps and alternate injector scaling. But what about alternate injector battery voltage compensation ? Is it possible to change this ?

You don't need to. You latency should not change at all. If you want to run e85 or something else you need to adjust your scaling for the alternate maps and change your timing maps.

If you have everything setup correctly the only thing that will change on a "alternate" map is your timing and scaling. Your fuel map and latency will not need to be adjusted.

Think about it! Your injectors aren't changing from map to map. If you change fuel types then just your scaling of how much fuel you need to be dumping in is changed. The injectors don't change so the latency will be the same.
