The xxx is OK, these are programming tables.

What is not OK on the screenshot is your endian. You need to change it from little to big for the MAP VE table and its scalings if you are using later than Ecuflash 1.29a.

Is anyone working on a 96530006 version? I have everything except the patch and it is kinda frustrating.. SD seems to have taken a back burner to Live mapping

I've only done SD for JDM/UK ECUs because of difficulties with testing ECUs for other markets and OBD differences. The same ideas should work though.

I think mrfred was just about to do this a while back untill he got sidetracked on a few other big projects.

I, too, would love an SD patch for this ROM. Maybe ask mrfred about it or perhaps he responds here if he reads it. From what I understood, you will need to first at least have the MAT fuel temp patch and have the boost logging in place.

I will be happy to take a look at a patched versus non patched ROM for some other ROM and see if I can compare it to 96530006, but I doubt I will be able to port it over. I think I remember mrfred saying that's it pretty complex.

Instead of doing the MAT fuel temp patch, you can also wire the MAT sensor into the stock AIT wiring and keep the air temp compensation the same as stock. This is how I'm doing it.

That's good to know and I think I may have asked that a while back. I'm sure the SD patch will have to be slightly different depending on where the MAT temp input is coming from.

wouldn't you need the same sensor type though?

If you look at one of the other ROMs that are posted you will see that there is a field called "SD Convert IAT to MAT (0x03 -> 0x0E)", if you leave it as 03 it will continue to log through the MAF input.

My logged temps appear to be about the same using this method, so it seems the sensors output is roughly the same.

The stock IAT sensor and the GM IAT sensor have similar output only over a narrow temperature range. If reading the GM IAT over the IAT ADC input, the IAT scaling needs to be updated. I'm pretty sure I posted the scaling somewhere.

Mr Fred what do we need to do to get you working on a 96530006 ROM?? Perhaps some bribery would help move things along

Yes, bribe mrfred to do it! I was talked into it by Eric when I realised 94170015 was already done, and I've copied mrfred's schema and was about to start doing it for 9653, but it is rather different to the method I used on the JDM ROMs so I haven't been able to get to it yet...

I'm in the middle of disassembling the ISCV control routines. PM me to discuss bribery proposal. :-)

Let me know what the bribery talks finalize on. I may be willing to support the cause.
