Hi Guys,

Did somebody use EVOSCAN 2.5 using Openport 2.0 Tactrix Cables?

I have Windows Vista.

I`ve tried to make the connection with the ECU using OpenPort 2.0 Tactrix Set and it was immposible.

I`ve made all the modifications into the Windows registry for full control acces etc but with no results.

One message appear on the screen when I want to connect : (USB Cable Device Not Responding).

Do I need a special cable to run this program....or I must install some new drivers for the cables?

Evoscan does not support the OP 2.0 Cable yet. Unless it changed in the last couple days.

I`ve made a mistake when I order Evoscan beause I was not focused maybe and I tink that Tactrix Cable is wotking also with this program.

Seems that I was wrong.

I must order from the same place where I bought Evoscan yes?

This is the only place for Evoscan cables?

I remember that 2 option for Mitsubishi are available: 1,3U Openport dataloggin and ecuflash reprograming cable and another one Openport 2.0 Dataloggin and Ecuflash reprograming cable.

Witch from those two are better?

the tactrix openport 2.0 will work with evoscan one the new version is released.

You thimk that it`s better to wait for the new version of the program and not to order a new cable until than?

For me it will take at least 15 days until the cable will arrive to me because I`m from Europe and the express mail arrives in 3 weekes.

Also the price of the cable is important too (166 usd).....for openport 2.0 by EVOSCAN.....

Please advise me what to do mate........

How are the results for the testing? Does it look like Evoscan will work with the OP2.0 cable on the IX's relatively soon?

 

Buy it now, they will get it working before you get the cable (hopefuly)

 

Yes EvoScan v2.6 beta9 works with OpenPort2.0 and Evo7/8/9 for Datalogging.

 

When can this software be purchased?

 

EvoScan v2.6 beta9 will support OpenPort2.0 Datalogging and DTC for 1994-2008 Mitsubishi. I have it running at 190+ samples per second!

It will be available in the next day or so, once I do some more comprehensive testing and DTC support.

vad ca esti din romania i think going either way will be fine i use the 1.3u cable and evoscan works great. but the new version of evoscan is just coming out and that works with the 2.0 cable so that will work too.

I think I will wait than for the new version.
I`m not sure that this option will be 100% into the new version but it`s better like this I think. I realy don`t wanna spend another 166 usd and plus some custom taxes, and wait for 3 weeks for EVOSCAN cable.

I`ve contact Hamish today and he said that reflashing with op2 currently works for evo9 via Ecuflash.

Evoscan will not support reflashing via openport 2.0 for a long time.

Datalogging will be supported by Evoscan in the near future.

Also he said that evoscan software with datalogging openport 2.0 support for evo9 will be released on EVOm ecuflash forum in the next few days.

Still I don`t know if I will ne able to use the program without this 1,3 Cable from Hamish
