to disable the EGR fault code, you need to change prephary 2 from 8A89 to 8D89 (sometimes 8889 also works).

Any update on this?

Our VII's don't have a map sensor but we do have egr. Look at your exhaust manifold. Follow the metal line that is hooked to it back to under your throttle body.

I'm bringing this back from the dead because first... Cossie's solution solved the original problem and now... I am switching from Tephra 5.10 to v7 (still with the 90550001) and I have lost the ability to change the periphery bits (it is no longer listed on the left hand side of EcuFlash) to fix the EGR issue. I have sent a message to tephra but in the mean time if anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Problem solved again! My evo7base.xml file was old and incomplete. With a new version replacing the old file the Cossie solution worked perfectly again. Thanks for all the help!!
