So I have been looking into switching from 94170015 to 96530006 and have found 3 different version of the 9653 xml and several evo7base xmls to go with them. I see tons of duplication and labeling issues.
I am rather frustrated because it took me months to get my 0015 all sorted out and updated with the latest patches. I want to stay current with the findings but the switch to 0006 will be a major pita because of all of the versions available.
I think I will hold off until a single, widely accepted, version of 0006 is out.

If you want some of the leading edge tuning possibilities or want some of the latest Tephra mods, do the change. There will not be support going forward, the thinking being one rom covers many= less work for the developer.
If you do change be sure to download ecuflash 1.41 or newer.

I use the newer version of EcuFlash and EvoScan so I am not concerned with those.
What concerns me is that we are switching to a ROM that was not designed for the 03-04 cars. There is still a few bugs that have to be worked out too.
My 94170015 is very up to date, and works wonderfully with the exception of an A/C on stall I am getting. The new findings in ISCV tables could solve my problem, but my rom is no longer going to be supported.
Thus, I am forced to use a "universal" rom that isn't fully tested if I want to work with the new findings.
Although I am irritated by being forced to the "universal" rom, I do understand that supporting the tons of ROMs out there is a pain. Guess I am one that does not like change.
