Well, as luck would have it I got the day off today

Ok, I checked the values for the idle cells in RAM then I flashed a ROM with altered timing values(different from what was reading in RAM) in the idle cells. I read from RAM after the flash & RAM was identical to what I had just flashed in ROM.

Before flashing..
Read from RAM & timing was 11* (value in ROM timing map was 11*)

After flashing..(Flashed 17* with Ecuflash)

Read from RAM & timing was at 17*, nothing seemed to be corrupt.

I think I did what you were asking

If you want faster logging, you can turn off the knock tracing and also increase the baud rate in the app and the ECU to match. I logged rates at up to 2500 samples per second. I might make some more MUT tables, including in RAM, so that you can log a smaller group rather than the first 64 items in the MUT table. This could be done without even reflashing the ECU, just by improving the PC app.
Ahhh, there they are

I also just tried logging with a Baudrate of 62500 & worked just fine.

Injector scaling is there, just not in the PC app for this version, but you can still change it in Ecuflash with the engine running using the choose rom file... write method. Latency, we could move it to RAM, would be helpful.

post #3 and #5, have you seen anything like this when editing ignition or switching between apps?

THANK YOU very much

I have not encountered anything like that yet...If I do I will let you know.

Hopefully The roads will dry out enough today that I can take the car out for some WOT runs...Took it around the block yesterday & seemed to drive fine.

Guys, this is awesome to hear. Getting ready for a spring tuning session with the car and this will help out a lot. Will this also clear the trims or is that a feature we are hoping to get later with ECUFlash or Tephra?

Looking at the logs, trims are not reset.

Doesn't clear the trims yet, but we could add a table or button that will do so.

I'm planning other updates to the PC app now that I've written the stuff for all the ROMs I've been planning.

One odd thing I am noticing is that on cold starts RPM will rise to 2000 RPM & slowly decrease to what it should be....hot starts seem to be fine.

this sounds normal to me. (unless I missed you changed something related to coldstarts)

I don't think that is patch related, mine does that in cold weather, on stock or alt maps, standard ROM or Live ROM.

I think it's related to the patch...didn't have the problem before.

edit: It seems to rise higher than it ever did.

It might be related, but I have no idea how, especially if it does it running on main maps, not alt maps. On my IX for the last year it has been behaving like stock. When I switched back to non-live in January for the first SD patch it was behaving just the same, 2000 RPM on cold start.

Either way it's really no big deal...I can live with it, just something I noticed.

There is a Periphery bit that turns off the cold start behavior and gives you a high rev when cold. I use it but I am running E85. I don't have the Periphery location right now, but will check tonight if needed. May be that the ROM JCS is using has this bit turned off.
