Why do you say this?

As long as it is a more recent version, I would think he would be fine. Wasnt the code updated?

I was also wondering how to set/un-set the cold start timing retard function? I've found people talking about it by searching, but not how to actually switch it on/off and it might help my idle problem. Thanks!

I'm on 88570008.

I think I'm meant to be changing this:

(This is the standard rom)

I've tried upping the fuel in the 20, 34 and 50 columns, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I found it was dumping in too much fuel honestly I remember pretty well having to reduce the higher values.

From the stock table I multiplied the table from 50 down by .684 which is the number of scaled cc's/ stock cc (750 for me / 512 stock).

Ah, I'll try reducing the fuel then

I suppose it makes more sense than what i was thinking

It is just the cranking primer (or equivalent on your rom, is it the IPW adder?) that I'm changing isn't it?

Cheers.

In my rom i'm fairly certain its labled as "IPW Adder" however if thats correct or not is certainly up for debate . I had to scrounge around to find the rom address myself for the 96240008 romid which isn't included in the thread

I'll plug the new numbers in and give them a try tomorrow, fingers crossed this will be one thing to tick off my list of 'things that annoy me', next has gotta be 'squeeling brakes'

Cheers for the info, I'll report back when I've tried it
