How does this E85 Timing Map look?
This is from a local tuner not on the boards...Car has a BBK Full turbo at 30 psi spike, kelford IX 272's, all other bolts ons. I know the injector scaling is way off but how does this timing map look? Ill find out later tonight what load Im spiking to and holding. Also, it seems that most people run a 12.0 AFR on E85. Is that what most are still doing?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the replies everyone, so no suggestions to change anything? Keeping in mind that I dont really have any knock control so no knock sums to go off of. Not that it would be that helpful on E85 anyway. Also, 12.0 is still what most of you are using for a E85 AFR?

Don't use ethanol for fuel, but from any research done on it regarding it's burn characteristic for load vs RPM I read that is has a more linear relationship. Basically when compared to gasoline, it's burn rate changes less, so at redline timing isn't advanced as much relative to peak VE. A flatter timing profile. This is just on paper though

Dude, you shouldnt ask for suggestions based on the picture of the map. Map doesnt tell much, except a general idea. There need to be at least logs/graphs to see how smooth you timing changes with RPM and there def needs to be tuning to see how YOUR car responds to timing changes..

im on meth, but your peak torque numbers are same/lower than my pump 92 gas.
Now uptop your timing looks good I myself am around 22 at 7500RPM.
I say change your 3's to 5 and you still should be very safe.
question is what a/f are you running at?
