Interesting MAF based datalog
3500 RPM, 3rd gear, IAT 16C, MAT 29C, Coolant 83C.
Running off MAF sensor, stock FQ360 ignition map, fuelling about 12:1 spool then 11.5 on full boost, 1.7 midrange target on AVC-R with 63% duty, but a completely stock map can also do what is shown.
The period shown is about 1.5 seconds. I had partly opened the throttle to accelerate and then had to lift just as the turbo was spooling up. Knock sum goes 10-12-14! Scale on the right is NBO2, all else on the left, MAP scaling is kPa. Note how the load, IPW, NBO2 drops out even when the manifold pressure is still high.
I'd forgotten how nasty these MAF jerks can be, and they are difficult to produce to order so it was nice to log a really good example. I was running MAF to check VE since I changed the exhaust since I can't use my tailpipe WBO2 sensibly with a cat. As it happens running 0.1 bar less because of the quieter exhaust with cat, the VE is pretty much the same. If I pushed the boost on the restrictive exhaust like I did on the loud one I think the top end VE would drop.
Driving it again on the MAF is not something I want to continue, they are almost evil when this sort of thing happens!
