Rich Idle and Cruise AFR's since injectors

Ever since I added my FIC1050's I have noticed my idle and cruise AFR's are ranging from 13.4-14.5 typically. My trims are +/-2 so I know that is not a problem, and the scaling was 1170. I actually just tried 1218 and the afr's didnt move much and my trims were +/- 3 still. There is no way I should have to go higher but why would the AFR's be off? I just replaced the wideband sensor and recalibrated it as well...same results. Only other thing I did when switching Injectors was the move from the 011 Rom to the 006 Rom. Or is this just common and the fluctuations are fine so deal with it?

If your trims are staying sound and your actual AFR is richer than stoich more often than not there can only be 1 problem: your narrowband sensor is working out of range.

Assuming that is not the case, your latencies are probably not as good as they should be.

Latencies directly affect trims though correct? If my trims are +/- 2, can the latencies really be the culprit?

Within +/- 4

Actually after looking at my last settings...once my LT Trim low settled at -2, my STFT were between -1 to +4

I would check the short term trim at the point where you see the rich afrs and see if they are deviating very negative.

You may simply need to lower your scaling and your latencies. I can't be sure though, since I haven't tuned those specific injectors.

Another check may be to run your car in open loop for an idle and cruise and see if you are still at stoich.

Chased this around for a while. Even switched back to stock injectors and had the same issue. It only was resolved when switching back to the 0011 Rom. Apparently I must have screwed something up in the conversion from 0011 to 0006. Any ideas on what that could have been?

I stand corrected. The 0011 starts at 14-15 but once the stft kicks in it settles back down. Any Ideas?!?!

FICS always scale higher than their advertised CC.

Thing is it doesnt matter what I scale it. I have gone 1170 and my trims are great, even went up to 1271. Afr's still end up in the mid 13's.

Used the LM programmer to output the analog to my gauge every 1/6th of a second rather than instant so that no wierd pockets are picked up and displayed. My gauge is now showing about an average of 14.4AFR cruise and idle? Normal? I have heard it should be High 14 to low 15. Someone has had to seen this before on this board.

Just found a thread from last year where people were having similar results when using the LC-1. Can anyone chime in on this at least?

DOes the LC-1 use a narrowband simulator or are you still running stock 02's?

I am using it strictly as a WB. I have the stock O2's in for narrowband.
