Question EvoScan RPM skipping

HI, I bought a new laptop w/ vista 64 bit, I am using evoscan 2.6 beta 11.

Every time when I log, the rpm will skip, meaning there will be missing rpm being recorded, ex. from 3353 rpm to 5409 rpm sometimes it even skip 3000rpm.

I disabled log super speed.

My tuners say b/c my laptop is too fast? (4g memory, intel core 2 dual 8400), I submit ticket to evoscan, still haven't hear back.

Please help me, very frustrated. thanks

you want me to check "disable multithreading"?

I am logging everything that was checked off in default plus I checked off knock sum, load calculated, boost, air volumn, afr map, I am thinking I should checked off more items

thanks tephra, you are always around to help.

actually I talked to Hamish today on msn messenger, he doesn't know why this happens...

I talk to a friend of mine w/ similar laptop and he is ok. I am gonna try logging w/ my old laptop see what happened.

should I log less items instead? it only happens under wot condition, when I cruise it logs normally, maybe under WOT, everything happens fast

yeah WOT you expect to see less rpm skiping, something you wont notice when cruising.

how many items are you logging - only need to log 5 or 6 really..

Try disable "Log Data to Screen" and log less than 10 items?

how was this problem solved? it's happening to me, it skipped like 2000rpm. I logged 13 items (including o2 wideband and map/boost).
