Evo9 FP Red Timing Maps/Fuel tables
The purpose of this thread is to help fellow FP Red owners looking for input on their timing maps/ fuel maps using EcuFlash. I do not recommend dropping these values into your ignition table, NOR the fuel values, FOR REFERENCE ONLY!!! I will not post my MIVEC map as I was given this by Aaron @ English. It's unique enough for me not to post it
Car specs:

Pump Timing

Pump Boost (USING STOCK ACTUATOR @ 1.5 FULL TURNS)
Here is a datalogged pull from my Racegas tune. 3rd and 4th gear
I need to figure out how to eliminate the shift knock... it's quite annoying.
I also need to run MORE boost. I've maxed out my WGDC at redline... How do I get more boost to 8k? Let me know what you guys think!

Why is your high load timing so low (with race gas) ? Your timing maps don't look very smooth (some large jumps), but maybe you never are in certain regions of your map ???
Also, I would have thought your load would have been higher than you are mapped for (320).

I remember having shift knock, 1-2 sometimes 3. never above this though.
but my fix was playing with MIVEC and more timing smoothing. But I think MIVEC decrease had more results.

So let me get a couple of things straight (we are so far OT anyway)
You are actually flashing two seperate maps when you switch to race gas instead of just flipping your switch for the tephra mods? (Since your boost adder is different for the two tunes and you are on the same tables). You can just leave it at 22.7 and set your pump map to [boost] - 8 psi (your adder) similar to your race map (IE 14 psi in the upper RPM cells.
You aren't using NLTS on what looks like a drag map?
Your boost doesn't really fluctuate at all at different RPM ranges?
You require near 100% WGDC on a red for 32psi? ...even with the actuator at 23psi? I was under the impression the Red held much better than this. (but I don't have any experience with one yet). I would also flip all of those 0% wgdc cells to 100% and then drop down to 85% the cell before it spools (your 3500RPM cell if your map is correct, however the 40% might be in there to keep spike down).
I'm also curious why you are only hitting ~300 load. I would think that you would be much higher in the 340+ area with a Red. As a guestimate I don't think your timing is too far off, but thats just a guess (again, no experience with the red). With that level of boost I can see 15-16* near redline being plenty, but the numbers are a little jumpy.
I'm curious to see the MIVEC map. I think it being unique is all the more reason to post it, but thats just me . The only thing preventing me from posting a map is if it is a standard vendor flash.
----------
On a side note, thanks for the example JB. I hadn't seen any concrete examples about what to do for shift knock yet.

+1 thanks for posting an example. thats a huge jump from 70 - 80 load tho... Im assuming during shifts, your seeing it come all the way back to 80 load? I never payed attention to the load in between shifts... until now. I just started lowering/smoothing the cells from 100 up to ~ 180 load, each rpm point from 5500, on... Im gonna check to see how far back my "load" goes back during shifts... Good info!
