I'm also looking for the xml rom metadata for the mode23 changes for my romid.

romid is: 52360016

Rom can be found here: http://clubctrl.com/jonathan_original.zip

If anyone could help with that I would be very thankful.

Tephra,

I am still a bit confused, Evoscan beta 14 was releases with this functionality, so I would assume I still need to modify my rom with mode23 using ECUflash to make it work right?

yup for Mode23 in evoscan to work you still need todo the 3x xml mods from the 1st post.

you can use evoscan or my logger - up to you.

evoscan is much more user friendly - but my logger is a good tester if you think your having evoscan problems

I tried the 3 xml lines for the 52360018 rom id on my rom id and the values were not correct. If anyone could help me with my 52360016 rom I'd be much obliged. Name your price! Rom file link is in above quote.

Tephra/SiC/Hamish: Evoscan v2.6 beta 14 worked great for me!! THANKS! One minor problem. The CAN-ID for TPS should be 2-0, not 2-2. I fixed that, and also made some changes to show mode23 speed in mph. It seems to be that mode23 logging is a bit faster when I watch how rpm changes in mode23 versus CAN. Can anyone else confirm this?

Also, should we be using 2-byte rpm through mode23?

LaXGSR, we didn't touch the CAN settings this time (that's why the CAN IDs are out of wack). This update was basically to add the Mode23 function. Currently I'm just logging Mode23 parameters, I don't know if it's good to log from both at the same time....... maybe Hamish or Tephra can chime in on that.

A few questions:

1. Why does tps only go to 87.45 and 87.06 instead of 100 during WOT?

2. What is PSIG?

3. Is 240ish load @ 4200rpm about normal for a stock US GSR?

Thanks!

1. Seems to be limited to that percentage, it registers the same on all other loggers.

2. Boost pressure

3. Seems about right for a stock GSR
