Evo X Logging
#232
ok, changed values of IFmode tables to 23 Domode to 52 and i downloaded the config.txt file from the first post, named it that and put it in the same folder the ECUFLASH .exe file is in.
is that it? what if i want to use evoscan to logg instead of yours since i'm more familiar and don't want to begin asking questions of how to use yours?

if you want to use evoscan then forget the config.txt - thats just a config file for my logger.
you will need to get evoscan 2.6b14 (somewhere in this thread) AND then an appropriate data.xml for your ROMID - again look through this thread.. i am sure someone posted up a version...

Lol yeah there is soo much information overload on this forum, people can't find anything these days lol. I think I'll make a wiki page for enduser people. The forums are too technical and vast for the average user.

Thank You
I haven't used this yet, but plan to very soon.
I wanted to express my appreciation to all involved in this development. I know that most of you do this type of work with little reward and simply out of passion!
It is people of this caliber that makes EvoM's community special.
I once had to defend my decision to sell my IS350 and buy an Evo X. Most people (wife included) thought I was crazy....but how many enthusiasts communities have the ability to crack the Ecu and the Nav unit so quickly....hell I think the NAV was Hacked within 3 months, I vividly remember seeing threads of people with oscilloscopes connected to their NAV units in order to crack the key on the Nav's HD....That's some cool $hit.
Evo drivers NEVER take NO (or you can't do that) for an answer.
Thanks again guys for your hard work, dedication, and constant user support for little to no pay, it's people like you that are truly special.

hey guys, i did a little bit of logging today and when i tried to check it out on the graphs it didnt give me any useful information. I did a 2nd and 3rd gear pull. they were really brief but i thought i could at least see if i was knocking or something. its not giving me anything or i'm retarded. I attached them to see if anybody could check them out and give me some feedback. i'm pretty sure my stuff is set up right because hamish did it for me. thanks a lot guys!
so after reviewing it a little more, all of the parameter are just stagnant? WTF!? i'm starting to wonder if i'm logging right? any input, anybody?

1. I simply copy the dat in the quote above and drop it in the 52680015 xml file. Correct? I do not have to put this data in the 52680017, 52680018 and 52680020. I openned these files and found no data in them. They simply point to the 52680015 data.
TIA
