FWIW intake air temp at the manifold always goes down for me during a pull. This is because you have more flow going over the IC. So I don't think there is any hard or fast rule on what should happen to intake temps during a pull. But my intake temps are normally around 45-50c when in 30c weather. They don't change too much.

To address my previous question... is it possible the data.xml that comes with EvoScan is not the correct one for the 52360016 rom?

You need to disable all the CAN logging too in order to get the mode23 to go really fast. If you have any of the normal stuff being logged it gets pretty slow.
Ues I did disable everything but the mode23 data items. Is "unchecking" sufficient to disable them?

Also SiC... do you have the Rom Meta Data which 52360018 inherits?

It inherits 52370024, you can edit to SM5237 since the release version had this file.

Do you mean boost pressure? If yes, then that depends on the tune as much as anything. Log IPW, and then convert to IDC to see where you're at.

Can be this evoscan bug ? Pcmscan works well, but evoscan won't. Currently I don't have keyspan adapter. Maybe some com port mappers can help with non Keyspan cables?

I had the same problem and I was about to give up until Bryan @ GTS told me about the Keyspan USB adapter. I went thru 3 different adapters and it would do the same thing as you described. I bought the Keyspan and my problems disappeared.

What is the max boost the factory ecu recognizes (PSIG i think)? If i removed the stock boost control lines and installed a MBC, will the factory ecu still be able to accurately read boost?

The reason i ask is that the tuner i want to go to is more comfortable with a MBC, but i dont want to install a boost gauge and am wondering if i cant talk him out of using a MBC, if i will still be able to log boost (PSIG) through evoscan/tephrascan.

I know my car has shown 27-28 PSI in its log... If it is pulling from the MAP sensor then it should not be an issue, however I do not know what the address for PSIG is and what sensor it pulls from.

I was wanting to ask the same thing. PCMScam maps my WB but I'm worried about EvoScan not...

The stock 3 bar MAP sensor is good to 32 psi.

RPM x IPW / 1200 = IDC

rpm times IPW divided by 1200 equals IDC
